What does it mean that all humans and animals will go extinct in the sixth mass extinction, like I believe?
That all humans and animals will go extinct in the sixth mass extinction event, what does it mean? Is it a horrible catastrophe? In some sense yes (for humans especially) and in some sense no. First of all it means vacation for all species for millions of years, because more complex lifeforms are more challenging to inhabit. They do not need to be less Edenic, just more challenging. It's a greater challenge to be human, than to be a microbe. So, we will enter a Sabbath rest, and we all really need that, we are tired after the fight. A Sabbath rest for all creatures, even the most evil ones.
As I said, in some sense this is good news, that evolution begins all over again. For all who do not believe in progress (like me) or the need for progress, this is good news.
